To the public, Ordnance Survey is best known for its paper maps. In fact, there are around 650 different recreational and leisure maps alone, together covering every corner of Britain. And even in the internet age, we still sell around 2.5 million paper maps every year.
We're in the third year of our graduate recruitment scheme and have seven vacancies open for application until 7 March. So, if you would like to kick start your career on real business projects, are prepared to be thrown in at the deep end and want to work with some innovative and creative people, then our graduate programme and role opportunities could be the destination for you.
We are looking for seven exceptional, results driven graduates to push the boundaries of what we do, challenge our thinking, develop our people and help up create the products and services of tomorrow.
We?ve taken a slightly different approach this year with the seven roles available. Because we know that not everyone has settled on an exact career path right away, we have five places for graduates who want to immerse themselves in our business and data before finding the right career at Ordnance Survey.
If you join our programme you will spend up to nine months in each of four key business areas working alongside our specialists, developing your skills and knowledge and sharing in our successes. At the end of the two- year programme, we will help you decide where your passion and skills fit best in our organisation as you start a permanent role in one of our expert teams.
We also have two roles for people with more specific career plans. We have trainee roles for a Human Resources Adviser and a Policy and Engagement Researcher.
