Job Title: MMA Insurance Risk Analysts

We are looking for a highly numerical and analytical graduate to join our Commercial Underwriting Team as a Risk Analyst. You will be responsible for analysing, interpreting and making recommendations through analysis to improve our Commercial Lines products profitability and income.

Specific responsibilities to include:
- Assist in the regular reviews of the performance of existing commercial products by carrying out analysis on key metrics and identifying trends to ensure that each segment is appropriately priced.
- Make suggestions on changes to rates and pricing structures. Working with Underwriting and Actuarial, consider the impact of changing rates on the competitiveness and profitability of a product or assess alternative options if rate changes are not possible.
- Support the implementation of rate changes by communicating agreed rate changes and other required information to colleagues.

Essential skills for the role to include
- At least a 2.2 or above in your chosen degree discipline
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
- Satisfaction from working with and manipulating data and figures
- Knowledge of reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Rate Assessor, Emblem or similar would be an advantage
- General data warehousing and reporting experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Good communication skills
