An exciting and forward-thinking web development agency is seeking a new trainee web developer.
The Job
This role will to take an intelligent graduate with a passion for all things internet and train them to be a top level web developer who makes a major contribution to projects for our clients and our internal work.
The successful candidate will be fast-tracked to become a quality web developer within our development team. You will ultimately be involved in projects within the team as well as being given projects of your own and will have input into projects, both large and small, from the planning stage through to testing.
You will be given excellent training directly from our head developer and external training will be provided as required. Additionally you will be given free reign to investigate new web techniques which can then be applied to various projects.
You will develop a working style that is flexible, agile and uses the very latest web development techniques.
The Company
Based in St Albans in Hertfordshire, MB Interactive designs, develops and supports websites and web-based 'solutions' for high-profile clients in a range of sectors.
In addition, the company is developing an exciting range of online tools and websites that will be monetised over time.
We are a very well established agency with a small but expanding team. We have big ambitions and see the next few years as a very exciting stage of our company's development.
The Person
Below are the specific requirements we have for candidates applying for this role...
- A demonstrably high intellect
- A degree in a science or numerate subject from a top quality university
- 2:1 or above in your degree
- Strong A-Level grades
- Some experience of web development. This may be as part of your degree, through websites you may have built in your own time or, if you have graduated a year or so ago, through your current role
- Excellent verbal communication skills
The Package
