Our client is one of the UK's leading energy suppliers.

Our client is now looking to recruit a Mathematical Modeller to join the Customer Analysis Team based in their offices in Worcester.

You will be building mathematical models in order to forecast and predict future customer behaviour. You will be involved in the whole process from requirements gathering, to developing models and presenting your findings back to key stakeholders within the business. You will be redeveloping models, as well as maintaining existing models.

You will use statistical analysis techniques including linear regression, logistical regression, trend analysis and tree diagram profile techniques.

Essential skills for the role include:

- Educated to degree level in Maths, Statistics or Economics
- A minimum of 18 months commercial experience post graduation
- Experience of mathematical modelling
- Able to use and understand statistical techniques
- Ability to work with large data sets
- Exposure to any of the following would be beneficial but not essential: SAS, SPSS, R or S+
