Job Title: Lead Data Analyst

Our client is a division of a leading financial services organisation providing banking products and services to personal customers, small and medium businesses and multinational corporations.

The primary purpose of the Lead Data Analyst, within the Application Processing Development Team, is to lead projects and analysis to drive value to the business by identifying areas of improvement across the new application process. The role will involve driving internal data driven projects and supporting strategic projects impacting the wider business.

Main Accountabilities:

-Leading analysis and research into new process and data initiatives to enhance the end-to-end application process
-Work with other team members to drive business action based on your results
-Resolve process issues with other parts of the business
-Take ownership for structuring and planning your projects within the team
-Communicating analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

-2-3 years minimum experience in data analytics preferably with sufficient financial industry experience
-Very good understanding of credit card dynamics
-Very strong SAS and Excel skills
-Analytical ability - Should be able recognise, anticipate, and create solutions to issues and problems in a timely manner.
-Experience in the use of standard statistical packages such as SAS (preferred) or SPSS and Excel would be preferred.
