Our client is one of the world?s leading boutique executive search consultancies who operate exclusively in the Retail and Consumer industries. From their office in London they are able to utilise their unparalleled sector knowledge and global network of contacts to place the best candidates around the world at Director Level and above. The company currently employs around 20 staff and boasts a fun, dynamic culture. They work across a number of sectors including retail, consumer goods, luxury, fashion, travel and leisure and have successful relationships with clients such as Harrods, Apple, Gap, Nike, Jamie Oliver, Innocent Drinks etc.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly commercial graduate who would like to combine their strong writing capabilities with their keen interest in Business Intelligence. This one-of-a-kind role involves taking responsibility for external communications, researching key business markets, copywriting and editorial work.
The role of Knowledge Coordinator is to ensure that this company has up-to-date, top-class market knowledge in all of its sectors and that this knowledge is used to help drive commercial gain. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator both verbally and in writing and will have a keen interest in commercial business research.
Key aspects of this position include:
- Compiling a pivotal daily news bulletin which is sent out to over 20,000 key business executives per day
- Filtering contemporary news to ensure the company has up-to-date business information and news leads
- Monitoring the press and Web for mention of the business
- Working alongside consultants to research possible revenue streams and develop marketing strategy
- Creating pre-pitch documents for consultants
- Creating white papers
- Editing and proof reading the weekly blog
- Engaging with senior executives
- Copywriting
- Monitoring the press
- Compiling biographies on attendees of events
- Helping to map out new sectors for business development
Requirements:
- Outstanding written communication skills
- A key interest in Business Intelligence
- A 2:1 or above in a degree with a strong writing component such as English, History, Classics etc.
- A passion for writing
- Demonstrable research skills
- An interest in marketing technology
