My client is part of a market leading company that develops and installs automatic people counting systems in the rail, bus, retail, airport and other industry sectors.

My client is seeking a recent graduate for this entry level role as a Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of the automatic passenger counting systems.

These systems will be in installed mainly on public transport such as trains, trams and buses.

The role requires you to travel to client sites to complete the installation. These sites will be spread out over the UK and Ireland so a willingness to travel is essential, as is a full UK driving license.

The role will begin as a trainee but you will be able to develop into a more hands on project management position once you have a full understanding of the role, products and process.

Essential skills include:

- Electronic Engineering (or related) degree.
- Understanding of installation of electronics systems.
- Good knowledge of computer technology.
- Willingness for travel throughout the UK, Ireland and occasionally to Germany.
- Good communication skills and the ability to be part of a small team.
- Full UK drivers licence.
