Our client is looking to hire a number of graduates who want a technically challenging client facing IT role. They are looking to hire candidates to work with their top end clients to deliver technical updates and solutions.
This is predominantly a client facing role and can require the job holder to work from their London or Woking offices, or their clients' offices as appropriate. The role requires flexibility for overseas travel for project work across the EMEA region and flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Analyse the functional requirements of their enterprise and manage enterprise clients
-Work as part of a team to design and build appropriate solutions in a timely way
-Ensure that client systems and configurations are fit for the purpose on delivery
-Provide intensive on site and remote support immediately before, during and after roll-out
-Provide supporting documentation where appropriate
-Liaise with the support team to ensure any issues are recorded and actioned
-Provide regular progress feedback to the project team leader or project manager
-Attend team progress meetings and provide task progress updates to the group
-Attend occasional project meetings with clients.
Essential Skills:
-Programming experience; preferably in one or more of Java, C++ or C. Candidates must be able to read, understand and manipulate existing code or develop new software where required
-Knowledge of the fundamentals of computer programming
-Degree qualified in an IT or numerate discipline (or equivalent)
-Confident and concise written and verbal communication skills.
