Established in 1998, my client has become the market leader in the provision of the highest calibre recruitment services in support of the telecommunication and technology industries. Working within specialist practice teams they are unique in their ability to identify and attract the best regional and global talent through in-depth market knowledge.
Their global reach has serviced more than 500 projects with 300 clients in over 100 countries enabling them to draw upon a sophisticated network of leading individuals within these industries from a variety of backgrounds.
The company has just opened up new premises near Victoria Station, London, in order to expand operations and attract more graduates. They are seeing a surge in business activity in Turkey and are looking to take competitive advantage. You will be focussed on finding high-level telecommunications experts for either permanent or contract positions, most of which are outside of the UK. As you will be focusing on high-end jobs your target candidates will be very successful themselves. You will need to use headhunting and persuasive techniques to generate interest and will also have to offer advice on interviewing and negotiation of offers. There will be lots of opportunities to travel.
Once you have progressed from the trainee role you will also be responsible for developing business relationships with large telecommunications firms in order to establish recruitment requirements. This will require telephone-based sales calls and networking across departments.
The initial basic salary is £20k, with a commission package to take first year earnings to beyond £35k.
As well as being fluent in English with Turkish, you will need to display the characteristics that successful recruitment consultants demonstrate. These include professionalism, confidence, drive, influencing skills, resilience and a hard work ethic.
You will need a degree from a leading university and have at least six months work experience in a target-driven role.
You will also need to be highly eloquent and possess the highest standards of both written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages would also be most welcome.
