My client is a commercial organisation whose core businesses are the undertaking of health economic analyses and the production of reimbursement dossiers for some of the largest healthcare companies in the world. Both these activities are highly analytical in their nature.
This is an Analyst role and is suitable for a Life Science postgraduate or graduate. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across my client's service areas. You will be supported by experienced consultants, senior analysts and technical leads. Your work is project based on behalf of clients and within the company.
Your responsibilities in this role will be as follows:
- You will provide high quality evidence based strategic solutions to meet client needs.
- You will conduct secondary research to inform and shape the development of strategic recommendations.
- Systemically identify and synthesise evidence e.g clinical, epidemiology, quality of life, economics, reimbursement evidence.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on findings and present and interpret results in a structured, conclusion orientated manner.
- Write, refine, review and critique sections of client deliverables, including reports, journal manuscripts, conference abstracts, reimbursement dossiers.
- Attend client meetings and conferences to present findings when necessary.
You will need good interpersonal skills, a strong team-working ethos but also the ability to work independently.
The essential skills for this role are as follows:
- 2.1 or above in a Life Science, Public Health or related degree, BSc, MSc, PhD.
- A high degree of written accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills and good presentation skills.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Keen interest in medical research, provision of healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience of writing reports and presenting.
- Ideally you will have some writing experience.
