The company is looking for new starters in their office in Houston, Texas.

The role of a Researcher is to identify and attract the most suitable trading executives for each recruitment mandate. You will specialise in what is known as the 'marzipan layer' ? vacancies in the £80-200k bracket. Typically these candidates are not actively looking for a new position, so you will have to find them by 'mapping' the market. Success is heavily influenced by how strong you are at networking with other professionals and understanding the energies market very quickly. Naturally, 90% of the work is phone-based and very fast-paced.

Each new Researcher is provided with their own Personal Development Plan, which is highly structured and ensures that individuals attain the right level of market knowledge, level of performance and skills necessary for advancement to the next level in the business.

You should be looking to move into the Associate role within the first twelve months, where you will have more responsibility for closing deals and developing new business opportunities.

The basic salary for this role starts at $45k and bonuses should take this to beyond $55k in year one. The package also includes healthcare and one free flight back to the UK per year.

Requirements:

- A 2.1 from a leading university and strong A-levels, Baccalaureate or equivalent
- An understanding of Executive Search
- Interest and understanding of energies or commodities
- Some commercial experience, not necessarily in recruitment or energies
- Fantastic, corporate levels of communication
- Target-driven, financially focused and keen to progress
