Job Title: Graduate Vacancy in Recruitment - Brighton

My client provides global recruitment solutions for the converging digital worlds of broadcasting, broadband, mobile and telecommunications. They recruit middle to senior management executives and key industry specialists in commercial, technical and content roles across the UK, Europe, US and Asia.

A graduate position with unlimited earning potential in a fantastic location just five minutes from Brighton station and the beach. You will enjoy working with this company if you are target-driven, commercially astute and confident at selling. The company has just put together a bespoke training package aimed at turning graduates into assured Recruitment Consultants.

The successful candidate will join the company as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant specialising in high-level technical placements. You will be recruiting on behalf of a range of telecommunications businesses from small Voice Over IP firms to blue-chip employers such as BT. The types of candidates you'll need to identify will be specialist engineers at management level, through to operations directors and CTO's.

The basic salary is from £18k with very realistic on target earnings exceeding £35k.

Essential Skills:

- A great telephone manner with a persuasive tone
- Ability to sell yourself
- Evidence of surpassing targets (non academic)
- Smart, professional image

Although you will not need to have recruitment experience, you will need to demonstrate a commercial understanding of how it works and why you are interested. An understanding of technology or telecommunications would be beneficial but by no means fundamental.
