They are manufacturers of specialist products and pride themselves on being able to supply industrial lubricants for even the harshest environments whilst maintaining and exceeding levels of excellence in both quality and performance.
With an investment recently of more than £500k, the RandD team are constantly researching new developments in the lubricant industry to maintain the companies standard and remain at the forefront of new technology.
This is all about getting you ready for a commercial field based role! The right candidates will undergo a thorough training programme to learn, from the ground up, all aspects of this expanding business.
This will involve rotating around all divisions of the business in 2-3 month projects covering;
- Time on the factory floor
- Lab based experience; blending raw materials, testing and analysing these lubricants to ensure they meet strict quality criteria. (A thorough understanding of the chemical elements involved and how they interact with each other will benefit the candidate?s knowledge and their ability to communicate in their future role).
- Purchasing and accounts; which will help give you a full understanding of the importance of this role and how it is integrated into the business.
- There will also be a period of time spent with the Sales Managers to help you see first hand the different approaches there are to achieve results in the field.
The whole year will be training intensive and will combine online training with on the job experience and mentoring.
The programme will be completed within 12 months, ideally sooner for the right applicant.

A company car, laptop, iPad, iPhone and out of pocket expenses, along with an attractive salary (£25-30k) plus commission will be offered on completion of the programme.
You will then be a fully-fledged Consultant within the company!
Requirements:
- Degree in a technical or related subject; ideally Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (2:2 or equivalent)
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Driving licence (or planned test etc.)
- Confidence
- Excellent teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel
Desired Skills:
- Commercial based experience
- Lab based skills and experience with lubricants or oils
- Interest in business
