Job Title: Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Recruitment consultancy is a varied and highly demanding profession which requires dedication and motivation. You will be immersed in a fast paced and target driven environment, where you will be working longer than the traditional office hours. Recruitment is a very rewarding career and there are plenty of opportunities to work internationally at a later date.

You will be responsible for:
1. Marketing mapping and becoming an expert within your market industry
2. Proactively selling recruitment services to a wide range of companies from SMEs to FTSE listed companies via business development, cold calling and marketing
3. Constantly delivering solutions that exceed client and candidate expectations
4. Advertisements of roles on jobs boards i.e. Reed, Monster, Total Jobs
5. Interviewing and screening candidates

The role is mainly telephone based, so you will be a confident and talented communicator with the ability to engage and influence people. In recruitment, more people tell you 'no' than 'yes' so resilience is crucial.

The basic salary for this position is £18k (£20k in Reading and London). You have a direct impact on what you earn and first year earnings are typically between £30-35k. On top of this you can expect a minimum of 23 days holiday, healthcare and pension contributions after your trainee period, and as part of a benefit scheme you can take advantage of promotions on holidays, insurance and clothing.
