A privately owned specialist recruitment company that has been trading since 2004. Since starting with five employees in an office in Bristol they now have 80 staff across six locations in the UK, producing a turnover in 2009 of £15m. They have also been in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for the last two years running.

The company are successful recruiters in two key areas. They recruit for the Education sector which is a very reactive market with huge demand from key clients and competition to get the best candidates first. Their other sector is Technical recruitment, whereby consultants have more pressure to win business from clients via business-to-business sales.

The company is recruiting for two Trainee Recruitment Consultants to start immediately in their office in Richmond. You will be recruiting within the Education sector.

This is a sales-based career in which you will be responsible for the following:

- Winning new business through telephone-based sales and relationship building
- Generating new vacancies to recruit for and networking across key clients
- Promoting your vacancies to suitable candidates through phone-based selling
- Guiding your candidates through the interview process, making sure they are constantly aware of the benefits
- Negotiating job offers

As this is a targeted sales career, the company operates a fantastic commission scheme which rewards success. The commission is uncapped which means you will earn on all deals and you should be expected to earn in excess of £30k in your first year on a basic salary of £16k, which increases to £18k after probation. Other benefits include fresh fruit every week, gym membership, lunch incentives, holiday targets and surfing lessons. They also have a Christmas party every year with a raffle - last year prizes included a Porsche for a year, a weekend in New York, a week in the Caribbean and a £15k flat deposit.
