Job Description:
Most graduates will join the capacity of Resourcer and will spend 6-9 months in this role in order to gain enough training and development to move into the role of Recruitment Consultant. Depending on experience some may move into the role quicker or even start straight in to the '360 degree' role. Essentially they view hiring at entry level in a flexible way.
Graduates join on a 13 week on boarding programme which includes both desk-based and off-desk training, and will have the support of their business Manager and Associate Director. Your training will be tailored to you and the industry you will be recruiting for and you will be working through a bespoke training manual which covers all aspects of success in recruitment. You will also get to work on a non-revenue project in your first three months with opportunity to earn £250 bonus, which most people achieve. In your probation period you will get to spend a week in their training centre in Birmingham. The company has a Learning and Development team of 16 staff who are dedicated on improving the professional development and wellbeing of staff.
The basic salary for London is £20-24k depending on background. Typically those with more professional experience are likely to achieve the higher end. New starters are likely to earn £5-10k in commission in year one. You will be building and learning to put you in a position where you'll be earning serious money come year two (£40-50k+)
Requirements:
- Academics background is relatively open. They have seen particular success recently in graduates who have strong A-levels and a 2.1 or equivalents, from a leading university
- Sales experience can be useful but not essential. Certainly the preference is for those who can demonstrate credibility, long term relationship building, integrity and honesty over the those who will say anything to make a sale or those who want to 'get rich quick'
- They are a professional services recruiter who deal with executives and business leaders. They look for staff who will be professional and measured with their clients and candidates
- Strong communication skills. You must be fluent in English and be clear and articulate
- Research and preparation for interview is a must
