Over the last fourteen years this company has become the leading recruiter of marketing, communication professionals and senior sales management within the UK.
Integrity, honesty, service and results are principles they are committed to. This has allowed them to build long term relationships with some of the most highly regarded companies, including many of the FTSE 100 and a network of candidates who regularly return to them and just as importantly refer friends and colleagues to them.
In the initial training period you will shadow senior consultants and rotate across different recruitment areas such as Financial Services, Professional Services, FMCG and Retail. This is designed to give you a flavour of how recruitment services are tailored to the specific needs of different clients.
On a daily basis you will be speaking to top middle and senior marketing sales professionals about their next career move. You will also be talking to large multi-nationals, advising them on their recruitment strategy in the marketing and sales arenas.
Working hours are 8.00am to 6.30pm. In return for commitment, hard work, and excellent people skills, they are offering a basic salary of around £20k alongside a competitive commission structure. Career progression starts within 12 months of consistently meeting targets. We have placed graduates in this company who are now running teams after just three years.
Ideally you will need to have a Business related degree, or at the very least one from a recognised academic discipline like Languages, Law, Humanities or Science. This will have to have been gained from a top 30 University.
Although all such applicants will be considered, strong preference will be given to those who have gone through a placement year in the marketing or sales industries. As important as academics, however, are personal skills, i.e listening, verbal presentation, relationship-building, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and a robust ability to fight your corner. This is not a company or role for shrinking violets!
Preference will also be given to candidates who have done something to take themselves out of their own comfort zone. For example, armed forces cadets, captains of sports teams (or sporting prowess generally), Duke of Edinburgh awards, interesting travelling experience, or having set up a commercial enterprise are all of interest.
