A start-up recruitment business in central Brighton, who are just about to announce a turnover of £1m from their first year of trading. The director has over ten years of recruitment experience within the telecommunications recruitment market and has already founded and sold a successful business which turned over £17m last year. He has a policy of hiring predominantly at graduate-level and has a background in training and developing graduates to become successful, high earning recruitment consultants

The company specialise in recruiting highly skilled technical staff within the European telecommunications manufacturing sector within permanent and contract positions. The majority of their work covers positions in UK, France and Germany.

The company are winning so much business that they could easily hire three or four graduate trainees to start immediately.

You will be reporting to the company director who will provide a wealth of expertise and training, and in return will expect you to work on your own initiative as well as in a team. Initially, you will be solely focused on identifying and attracting technical candidates, often engineers, for a number of positions. You will utilise the company database as well as searching job boards and headhunting from rival companies. For each successful hire you make there will be a commission on top.

The company offers a very competitive and simple commission structure and with the volume of jobs that already need filling you could easily earn commission as early as the second month. The basic salary is circa £17k depending on experience in sales.

Progression to a full recruitment consultant status is dependent on your ability but should be swift. Given that this is a start-up business now is the best time to start in order to become a senior consultant and then manager in a short space of time.

Our client is keen to see candidates who are well-rounded, well-travelled and down-to-earth. This is a very fast-paced sales job with fantastic rewards in the way of commission and fun incentives. You will need to be genuinely motivated by financial gain.

Sales experience is preferred but any evidence of achievement or competitive spirit is also welcome.
