Job Title: Graduate Trainee PR Consultant

I have an exciting opportunity for a bright and determined graduate to work at a leading technology PR agency. My client runs a combination of traditional media relations campaigns and social media activity.


You will be working on campaigns for high profile clients in the science, engineering or technology sector and will have the opportunity to work on multiple accounts across all areas of the business. This is an exciting position and no two days will be the same!

The successful candidate will be particularly strong in the field of social media and will have the opportunity to play a role in the growth of the business in that area. Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude is a must.

Specific duties might include:
-Writing press releases
-Analysing and reporting on client coverage
-Creating and updating media lists
-Distributing press releases by email
-Tracking social media conversations relating to specific clients or issues
-Brainstorming campaign ideas
-Pitching to journalists
-Using the in house database to research up and coming editorial features
-Creating client presentations
-Event co-ordination

Essential skills include:

-2:1 or above
-Strong A Levels (A's and B's)
-Strong writing ability
-An interest in technology
-Completely comfortable using social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
-Ability to think quickly
-Ability to think analytically
-Good presentation skills
