Specialists in recruiting 'real-time' software and hardware engineering professionals into permanent and contract positions across the UK and Europe. They recruit for telecoms, oil and gas, defence, aerospace, transport and electronics industries and only work with the most highly-skilled candidates.
Based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
The Resourcer role will be focused on supporting the UK recruitment team, who largely place engineers into highly-paid contract positions (up to £70, £80 and even exceeding £100 ph). You will work on requirements across all industry sectors to get a strong understanding across the business. This is a telephone-based role where you will be looking to source candidates through a range of mediums (database, job boards, linked-in, referrals) and to pitch relevant positions to them. Commission is earned on those that are successfully placed.
A hugely supportive environment with plenty of in-house training including an initial four week on-the-job induction. Full software life-cycle training on offer from the company owners to get your technical knowledge up to speed. They also offer a flexible approach to working hours compared to most sales-based businesses and have received the Government's Work Life Balance Challenge Fund. Additional incentives and days off are awarded for those who are above target.
Basic salary is circa £16k and Resourcers also make 3% commission per deal which is around £300 each time. You will be targeted on an average of two deals per month which means your first year on target earnings should be £23-25k. You should be looking to progress into the Account Manager role with 9-12 months in which your basic salary and levels of commission will increase and you will be responsible for business-to-business sales. Further progression to Senior Account Manager and Principal Account Manager roles are wholly dependent on performance and are achievable within 3-5 years.
We are looking for graduates who have experience in resourcing, sales or other target-driven environments in any sector.
It would be very useful to have an interest in technology or within the industries in which they recruit into. Candidates with technical-based degrees are most welcome although others are also considered.
You must live within a reasonable distance to Burgess Hill. This is easily commutable from Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Lewes etc. They also have free parking for those who will be looking to drive.
