Job Title: Graduate Trainee International Sales Engineer (with languages)

My client is a world leader with over 50 years of success in the industrial fluid and gas controls industries. Key developers of automated and manual valves used in pipelines, refineries and distribution centres. With over 340 offices located worldwide this is a truly global organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fresh graduate to begin a career in a global engineering organisation. The role is an initial trainee position leading to you becoming an International Sales Engineer rising to Area Manager.

This is a technical sales training scheme role and requires you to have an Electrical Engineering degree in order to fulfil the duties competently.

During training you will gain full exposure to all areas of the business developing a knowledge of products, manufacturing systems, departmental structures and activities, and their client's specifications and requirements.
You will also develop a technical and commercial relationship with subsidiary offices and representative companies.

You will spend 6 months training in one of my client's overseas manufacturing plants.

Key duties include:

-Produce technical and commercial quotations and assist the international team in developing company orders
-Compile order input through the manufacturing process configuring products to customer requirements
-Assist in all departments gaining an understanding of Actuator Engineering, Quality Control, Actuator Marketing, Customer Support and Sales
-Visit clients on site to promote the company's products and services
-Travel across the UK and Europe to meet clients

Requirements:

-2:1 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
-In addition to English you must be fluent in one or more of the following languages; Polish, Romanian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Serb-Croatian (due to the requirement of role to travel and work overseas)
-You must be an excellent communicator
-Good presentation skills and confidence
-Self motivated and driven
-Gregarious in nature
-Technically competent
-Commercially astute
