Job Title: Graduate Trainee Headhunter

A boutique-sized Executive Search firm based in Leicester. They work on a retained and exclusive basis in providing a recruitment service for executive level roles across a number of industries.

The company is looking to expand and take advantage of growing demand for their headhunting services. The entry-level position is a Researcher and there are two immediate vacancies.

You will work on a project basis, supporting one of two hugely experienced headhunters in finding and pitching to highly specialist executives and leaders for each recruitment campaign. Typically it can take 6-8 weeks to find the best candidates given the depth of research and attention to detail required.

This is largely a telephone-based role which will harness your ability to network, interview and pitch. It is very target-driven and demanding and also carries a competitive basic salary of £18k with commission taking this to £26-30k in year one and much more thereafter.

You will have first-rate levels of communication and have the professional maturity to buld relationships with business leaders. You will need to demonstrate a hard-working and resilient personality in the interview process and be excited by working to targets.

Ideally, you will have a 2.1 from a strong university and have some commercial or office based experience.

You will also need to live in Leicestershire or be willing to relocate to the area.
