A specialist London based headhunting business established in 1998. It has two main recruitment divisions; Business Development and Strategy, and Technology into Financial Services.
In January 2011 they moved to a fantastic open planned office very close to Spitalfields Market, and anticipate steady organic growth over the coming months.
This position will be within the Financial IT recruitment team. This is an area which is really starting to pick up and the company is experiencing huge demand from their clients. This means that you will have a great chance of earning in excess of £40k including commission.
You will initially be responsible for attracting new candidates for existing job vacancies that the company receives from leading investment banks and financial institutions. You will be trained on headhunting techniques rather than through advertising.
You will be highly active on the telephone as you seek out candidates interested in new job opportunities within Financial IT. You will also meet candidates to further ascertain their suitability for clients. You will develop knowledge of technology and financial services, understanding the gaps between clients and candidates, and will develop strategies on how to bridge those gaps.
As your skill set grows, you will take on management of existing clients, formulate resourcing strategies and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- You must be a graduate with a 'traditional' degree, ideally business-related.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that will enable you to effectively build professional relationships.
- Drive and determination that will ensure you find success no matter what the scenario.
- Very effective PC skills that will allow you utilise technology to gain a strategic competitive advantage, and work with upmost efficiency.
- Initiative and maturity that you will utilise in all your business dealings to allow you to run at your own speed.
- An eye for detail; you will be able to quickly ascertain key information from written documents, while also identifying the hidden flaws.
