Established in the late 90's my client has been pioneering software solutions to the Private Equity industry ever since. Prior to the initial release, they invested considerable resources developing a sophisticated architecture and toolkit to allow for the rapid development, enhancement and support of applications. Their solutions use the latest technologies and state of the art techniques to ensure that their clients can achieve maximum business benefits.

An opportunity has arisen to join the company as a Graduate Consultant. This role will offer exposure to many areas of the business. Initially your main function will be to support Lead Consultants and Project Managers.

Responsibility and client contact will be offered immediately after your initiation period. You will be expected to help clients to implement or improve their system. This can include business analysis and requirements documentation, data migration and participation in post deployment activities.

Major duties will include:

- Liaise with clients analysing business requirements
- Where issues are raised - investigate the issues and communicate solutions to clients
- Participation in configuration workshops
- Conducting project tasks across multiple projects and clients
- Providing feedback to managing consultant about solution delivery to clients.

In order to apply candidates must:

- Be on course for, or have achieved, a 2.1 in a Business, Finance, Economics or IT related course
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Have a 'can do' attitude - willingness to learn through exploration, to accept challenges and innovative approaches
- Possess strong problem solving skills
- Have an interest in finance and technology

It would also be advantageous if applicants have prior experience of end to end lifecycle of systems development and implementation projects and experience within investment banking, private equity or real estate management. You do not have to be an expert in technology or alternative assets as training is available.
