Job Purpose:
To support internal and external customers in relation to their client's systems and product range. To support and participate actively in the development of new products and systems. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this role requires daily interaction via telephone with both internal and external customers. This role will give you the opportunity to progress into project managment, marketing or business development within the future.
Day to day duties:
To provide telephone based technical support to internal and external customers in relation to plasterboard and plaster systems. Develop training materials and respond to requests for training in order to further knowledge of products and systems. Conduct research and provide input into matters relating to system development and innovations being made in the industry.
Skills:
- Most importantly the ability to learn and the drive to progress within an international company.
- HND or Degree in a Building, Technical or Engineering related field.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of CAD, preferably Autocad.
- Ability to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
