Job Title: Graduate Technical Support Engineer

My client is a world leader in supplying mini printers. Design and manufacturing is all in house and they also provide a large amount of other bespoke equipment such as software solutions, interfaces, printer mechanisms and more. They operate across a number of industries such as industrial, medical, retail and transport. Established in the early 80's they are a growing success and offer a great career to any new employees.

This new position will involve you primarily providing front line technical support to customers for my client's products, mainly by phone and email. You will also be providing support for the sales team in developing new customers and improving and promoting the company brand.

Day to day duties will include:
-discussing customer requirements and providing phone support to them on a variety of technical issues
-liaising between departments
-working to define specifications with customers, leading to the design and development of special products.

You may also be involved in:
-creating and supporting additional driver support, mobile platform support (e.g. windows, linux, blackberry, android, iOS etc.)
-developing configuration utilities to support my client's products
-supporting the manufacturing department in terms of maintenance, test procedures, production documentation etc.

Requirements:
-Degree qualified with a minimum 2:2 in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
-Excellent communication skills
-Demonstrable ability to work in a customer focused environment
-Strong organisational skills
-Ability to troubleshoot and respond confidently to problems
-You must be a driven individual with multi-tasking abilities.
