Our client is the world's leading provider of desktop portfolio management systems for hedge funds. Over the past five years, our client's portfolio has grown to be the core information technology infrastructure for over 200 clients in 17 countries. Designed to support over 100 types of financial instruments and multiple currencies, the system simplifies and streamlines hedge fund operations with its unique product offering. Our client is expanding rapidly and has offices in four countries.

Your primary role will be within the Client Services Team dealing with client queries concerning their use of the software product suite.

- You will be required to identify the client's needs and deliver a suitable solution.
- You will often be required to gather information and work methodically through large amounts of data in order to arrive at the necessary solution.
- You will be required to know the mechanics of various financial products both in terms of the real world and the system.
- As you progress, you will take on more client facing responsibilities, including training and implementation.
- You will be expected to effectively work with technical personnel to deliver complete solutions to client situations.
- Opportunities for promotion and international travel are reviewed after successful performance in this role.


Candidates should be able to demonstrate problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as much of the role will involve interfacing with clients. The candidate must also be able to work under pressure both individually and as part of the team. Self-development and a willingness to learn are other key skills the candidate should possess.

Applicants should have a solid educational background, either with IT, Accounting or Finance courses. Applicants should also have at least a 2.1 in your chosen degree. PC literacy is a must and database and programming experience is helpful. Any exposure to SQL, .NET or other databases will be advantageous.
Knowledge of financial services, specifically in trading would also be beneficial. Candidates must be fluent in English.
