After continued success and rising profits as part of a larger group my client is expanding at a good pace and operates globally.
As a Graduate Technical Sales Engineer you will be predominantly using your sales skills and technical knowledge to expand the company's client base. With a large client base already in place you will be building upon an excellent track record and offering very specialist services to a niche area of a wide variety of industries.
My client's equipment and services are mostly involved in the oil and gas industry at present but they are heavily involved in other industries such as aviation, rail infrastructure, marine, offshore and much more.
Working as part of a sales team at the head office you will gain excellent experience and be provided with ongoing training that is personalised to your needs. There is a lot of opportunity for worldwide travel in order to visit clients' sites to gain a full understanding of where and how your company's expertise and services are needed.
Requirements:
-Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering classified ideally as a 2:1 but a 2:2 as minimum
-A minimum of 300 UCAS points
-Some good sales experience (telesales experience would be a bonus)
-A basic understanding of CAD or other technical design systems
-Excellent communication skills
-Drive and determination to succeed
-Self motivation
-Excellent team working skills
-Driving licence is essential
