This company is a global leader in the supply of tea, coffee, flowers and fresh produce.
Do you have an interest in the more technical side of consumer goods? Would you like the responsibility of ensuring that the quality and brand integrity of a company is maintained within their products?
This huge global company is looking for a bright and focussed graduate to join them in their flowers division, providing technical support to one of their biggest accounts, which is worth £7 million to their business. Reporting directly to the Technical Controller, you will support the team on all technical aspects of the flower product, ensuring their high quality standards are always met, and the flowers are handled, stored and maintained in the correct ways.
As well as supporting the technical team, you will also be liaising across the wider business, working with the Commercial, Operations, NPD and Packaging teams, which will give you a great overall understanding of the business. This role is a great first step into a technical career within consumer goods, and there is a lot of progression on offer.
Requirements:
- A 2:2 or above in Business, Agriculture, Biology, Management or similar
- Ideally 240 UCAS points or above
- Fantastic attention to detail, and a passion for the technical quality side of products
- An interest in the cut flower industry
- Great communication skills and the confidence to work with senior staff members
- Some work experience in a technical environment is a bonus, but not required
- Work experience in agriculture, manufacturing or retail is highly desirable
