Job Title: Graduate Technical Consulting Opportunities

This company is the UK's leading specialist Business, Analytical and IT consultancy, they employ over 1500 people. Their portfolio of clients covers diverse areas such as National Security and the Public Sector, through to commercial industries such as Telecommunications, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals. Their services include business consulting, software and hardware development, technical consultancy and complex data analytics work.

As a Graduate Consultant, you will work across a range of areas, allowing you to identify your future chosen specialisation, whether it is technology or business consulting, data analytics, engineering or technical delivery. In the initial stages however, you will generally focus on technology consulting projects, so will need to be comfortable with the need to learn new technologies and deploy them soon after joining. All technology consulting projects require you to be client facing.

Projects are varied, but could include:

- Business Intelligence
- Data Analytics
- Data Forensics
- Fraud and Security

You could be contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle - user requirements gathering, development and testing. You may play a key role in transferring knowledge to the client so they can gain maximum value from a new system, involving organising and presenting at client workshops. Alternatively, you could be contributing to an industry white paper or supporting efforts to win more business. Being flexible and adaptable is vital.

Although you will be assigned to a specific business unit on starting, there are plenty of opportunities to work across the business, whether on a permanent or secondment basis.

You will have:

- 2:1 minimum (or equivalent) in a Computer Science or related degree
- A and B grades at A-Level
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentational skills
- Analytical approach and a passion for problem solving
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrable commercial awareness
- Ability to work with a wide range of people ? both from technical and business backgrounds
