My client is a leading provider of software solutions to the Private Equity industry. Their solutions use the latest technologies and state of the art techniques to ensure that their clients can achieve maximum business benefits.
An opportunity has arisen to join the organisation as a trainee technical consultant. You will join the established consulting team. You will need to be prepared to learn all aspects of the alternative assets (private equity and venture capital) industry as well as client consulting and customer service.
The consulting practice primarily focuses on delivery of their highly regarded, technically advanced product to clients across Europe. Consultants in the group are considered to be both technical experts as well as possessing detailed understanding of the business area concerned.
Based out of the London office you will work with existing clients to ensure that they are getting the most out of the product. You are likely to be exposed to implementations, new product role outs and enhancements. Major responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with clients analysing business requirements
- Where issues are raised - investigate the issues and communicate solutions to clients
- Participation in configuration workshops
- Conducting project tasks across multiple projects and clients
- Providing feedback to managing consultant about solution delivery to clients
We do not expect you to be an expert in either the technologies used or the investment and asset classes that you will be exposed to. However we do expect you to have a demonstrable interest in these areas and have the enthusiasm and drive required to get your knowledge up to the required levels. In addition candidates must:
- Have an excellent academic background having achieved a 2:1 in their undergraduate degree with strong performance at A level or equivalent
- Have a clear and confident communication style with fluency in English - both written and oral
- Have a passion for problem solving
- Be flexible
- Be team players
- Have demonstrable relationship building skills
- Be analytical
- Have good understanding of the MS Office suite especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
