Job Title: Graduate Tax Consultant

A leading professional services firm with offices across the UK and the globe. They offer graduates employment opportunities across many business areas.

An opportunity has arisen to join the tax consulting team. This role will give you early responsibility and you will provide advice and consultancy expertise to clients on VAT but also many other areas of tax. These will include customs duty, customs and excise and taxes impacting on a client's green agenda such as the climate change levy.

This area of tax is all about knowing your client, knowing the industry and coming up with answers, ideas and solutions. The work is often complex but highly rewarding and has a great deal of variation.

You will work with clients from a broad variety of backgrounds from investment banks to government bodies, Hotels to Private Equity firms pop stars to car manufacturers. So if you are interested in challenging and thought provoking work that will allow you to be innovative and creative whilst working towards a professional qualification this is the area of tax for you.

In order to apply candidates must have:

- achieved a minimum of a 2.1 in their undergraduate degree
- achieved 300 UCAS points in their first 3 A-levels or equivalent
- achieved a minimum of a B in G.C.S.E Maths and English Language or equivalent
- prior work experience - either related or unrelated
- held a minimum of two positions of responsibility or have demonstrable extra-curricular activities.
