An Investment House focussed on various institutional Global, Emerging Markets and APAC Mandates.
We are looking for a graduate to join the team and provide IT and business support to the investment team. Reporting to the Front Office Systems and Development Manager you will respond to support issues and liaise with internal technical teams and external technical vendors.
The role will give exposure to a range of market leading platforms allowing you to work with some of the leading technology platforms used across the investment management industry. You will also gain exposure to individuals across all areas of the business allowing you to gain a thorough understanding of the inner workings of an investment management firm.
Tasks will include:
- Responding to support issues across the business via phone, email and in person.
- Liaise with external vendor providers.
- Undertake daily operational checks, investigating and resolving issues or problems.
- Ensure documentation of all investment systems is kept up to date.
- Provide administration, support and development of all investment systems.
- Liaise with third party helpdesks for consultation and assistance to resolve any issues.
We are looking for graduates with a demonstrable interest in technology and investment management. You do not need to have studied a technology oriented degree, however, it will be advantageous if you have gained prior exposure to Database technologies (SQL, Oracle) or some programming or coding experience.
In addition you should:
- Have achieved a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree.
- Have excellent communication skills.

- Be able to build strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external vendors clients.
- Have excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
- Possess initiative and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Be team oriented.
