A leader in its field my client provides pension and financial software to a variety of multinational firms. They are privately owned and have an impressive growth plan.

Your role as a Graduate Software Developer will give you exposure to the whole product lifecycle.

The position will see you code for approximately 75% of the time but you will also get involved in:

- Analysis and design
- Testing
- Implementation
- Technical Support

My client offers excellent training and support. You will be given a 'buddy' from day one and will receive both 'on the job' and external training, including being given the option to work towards becoming a Sun Certified Java Programmer.

As full training is provided we are also willing to take applications from candidates from non-IT related degrees who wish to start a career in software development. If you have taken modules relating to Java, C or C++ and are keen to learn more please feel free to apply.

Key skills for the role include:

- To hold or be expecting a 2:1 in Computer Science, IT, Computing, Maths, Physics, Electronic Engineering, Natural Sciences or any technically related degree
- Strong A-Levels, minimum of ABB
- Experience of programming in either Java, C or SQL
- Driven and self motivated
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic
