Our client is the London based securities and investment banking arm of one of the world's largest banking groups.

This role is for a Support Analyst to join the risk systems maintenance team to assist and support multiple applications as they transition into production.
These are greenfield and high profile projects so you will be joining a new team focussed on delivering brand new applications. Their objectives are to measure, report and facilitate the management of market risk across the Bank covering sensitive, stress testing, PandL attribution, VaR and aspects of issuer risk.

Duties will include:
- Investigating underlying problems within the risk systems
- Adhere to SLA's defined in Risk systems support manual
- Aid with the production and review and review of functional specifications where required
- Release into development and testing of vendor delivered enhancements and preparation of the changes for UAT
- Execute internal configuration changes to development environments
- Integration of risk systems into the scheduling and monitoring systems
- Assist the test leads in determining appropriate testing strategies prior to deployment
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- A minimum of a 2:1 in their undergraduate degree
- An understanding of Windows Operating system
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to provide sensible, practical solutions to problems
- Top level communication skills - both written and oral.
It would also be advantageous for candidates to have had prior experience either within support or within the finance industry. Knowledge of scripting languages and database knowledge would also be beneficial but not essential.
