My client develops software that is a leader in the retail automotive field. They have a global presence and offer their employees excellent long term careers.
My client is keen to find a recent graduate to join their expanding support team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and growing organisation working within the automotive industry, offering high quality software solutions.
Day to day Duties will be varied and include:
-Accurately resolving support calls using analytical, technical and programming skills following support and programming guidelines
-Ensuring calls are accurately investigated and both the causes and the symptoms of problems are resolved while taking into account customers' business and operational practices
-Pro-actively take ownership of a wide variety of calls and problems
-Managing, prioritising, escalating and progressing calls under own initiative ensuring that critical issues get appropriate attention
-Delivering training content as and when required to do so via a number of different mediums.
Requirements:
-A Computer Science degree, or degree with a large element of computing, or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage
-Automotive industry knowledge would be considered an advantage
-C, C++, C or Visual Basic programming experience
-Unix Linux skills
-Experience in software development or analysis
-Trouble shooting and analytical skills coupled with good communication ability
