Based at their Surrey HQ my client is looking to hire a number of graduates to work in their popular Software Support Analyst role. The role involves working closely with other employees and their customers in order to provide an effective and high quality technical support service.

Day to day duties will be varied and include:

-Investigating and resolving reported issues
-Communicating updates effectively and promptly to the customer
-Logging, prioritising and keeping issues up to date on the issues tracking system
-Building up and maintaining a knowledge of the client's database structure, configuration files, integration and business flows to assist in issue investigation
-Escalating issues to team leaders and management as appropriate
-Involvement in application system checks, particularly in the morning, with the aim of identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers
-Assisting in dealing with unexpected events or failures which limit the usage of the client's software by one or more of their customers.

Requirements:

-Computer Science or IT related degree (2.2 or above)
-Ability to communicate confidently and concisely using business acumen
-Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships both with customers and internally
-Calmness under pressure and ability to maintain good humour, particularly in the face of adversity
-Good grounding in and desire to develop technical skills such as database and SQL knowledge, or coding in areas such as TCL-TK and FIX.
