My client has developed a piece of software that manages Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns. The software is built on algorithms and is designed to automate the process of managing SEM. This enables companies to maximise their return on investment from the large search engines whilst minimising the human interaction required.

Search Engine Marketing is the term used to describe the range of marketing techniques required to make a website highly visible on search engines and directories, so that it will attract visits from its target audience. This emerging sector has witnessed huge expansion in the past few years which is only expected to increase.

There is an exciting opportunity to work in a role that combines analysis, client facing work and social media. As a Social Media Analyst you would be responsible for the delivery of clients' social marketing programmes and you will be involved in presentations and feeding back recommendations to clients.

This role combines managing social media advertising and managing social media page contents for brands. A strong interest in Facebook is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

-Ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to brief
-Daily checks for performance against client targets
-Develop relationships with key contacts at all major social media suppliers
-Report writing for clients
-Develop knowledge and contribute to clients' digital marketing strategy
-Account management
-Identifying new opportunities
-Representation at industry events and tradeshows

Requirements:

-BSc or equivalent in an analytical subject e.g. Mathematics, Sciences, Economics, Management or related
-Awareness of online advertising or marketing is a must
-A strong interest in Facebook
-The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Social Media Analyst or Account Manager
-Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Commercial awareness
-Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
-Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Excel is particularly important.
