Our client is a market leading recruitment consultancy that specialises in placing top candidates into commercial roles within the scientific and medical industries. They have the largest marketing spend in the industry which guarantees a lot of repeat business. With offices across the UK, they are looking to take on graduate talent to boost their increasing success.

There are two vacancies available in the company head office which is near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you can expect to work in an exciting, high-pressured environment with the opportunity to have your hard work rewarded with impressive financial earnings. You will take part in their internal training programme which will give you the start you need to flourish in your recruitment career.

Responsibilities will include:

- Winning business accounts via telephone-based sales methods (including cold-calling)
- Building and maintaining relationships with both clients and candidates
- Marketing positions to potential candidates
- Assessing candidate strengths using interviewing techniques
- Promoting candidates to your clients
- Managing the interview process
- Negotiating offers of employment and closing deals

The basic salary for this position is £20k and with commission on offer you could earn £25-30k in your first year and in excess of £40k in your second year.

No sales or recruitment experience is required for this role, although it would be beneficial. The most important qualities we are looking for are personality and a desire to work hard.

Those with a science-based degree will have an advantage given the sector in which the company recruits.
