The UK's leading supplier of food and drink vending solutions. Their client base varies from 30-strong SME's to major blue-chip businesses across London and the South East. As a business they are currently 130 in size. Their sales force is looking to take on seven graduates in 2011 to help facilitate a growth plan to double in five years.

The assessment day for the graduate programme is being held on 23rd June for summer starts.

Initially you will embark on a three month training programme with grass roots introduction to sales and the vending market. With the support of senior sales managers and an external trainer your business skills and sales techniques will be developed at a rapid rate. They offer a fast-track career development plan that will take you into management and beyond.

You will be responsible for new business sales or customer account management within a geographical territory. Your time will be spent either in the office or on client sites and responsibilities will include:

- Following up on sales leads which have been generated by the marketing team
- Introducing company services to new businesses via telephone pitching
- Arranging appointments with prospective clients or existing accounts to discuss their vending needs
- Visiting clients on their site to develop relationships and to pitch services
- Negotiating on sales margins

Requirements:

- A strong record of academic achievement with a 2.1 (or expecting) at degree level
- Proven track record of success from a non-academic background
- Excellent levels of communication; including rapport building and the ability to persuade
- Genuine desire to work in sales and to achieve high levels of commission
- Aspiration to achieve managerial levels
- Driving License
