A leading supplier of office stationary, primarily to the Education sector
The company is looking to hire two graduates into the sales team. You will be taken under the mentorship of the Director or Sales Managers and will be looking to learn all aspects of a career in sales by shadowing them for your first 12 months in the business.
Towards the end of your apprenticeship you will be looking to develop your own sales patch. You will be assigned a geographical territory and will be looking to build relationships with decision makers in your target clients, typically educational institutions.
The initial basic salary for this is £15k with bonuses paid on any successful leads that you generate. My client advises that you should be looking to earn an extra £2k in your first year. Upon progression to Sales Executive your basic salary and ability to earn commission will increase dramatically and you'll be expecting to earn £40-60k per year.
Candidates will require:
- Fantastic levels of communication skills
- Genuine interest in a sales-based career
- Inquisitive mind and willing to learn
- You will need to live within a reasonable commute to the east side of Liverpool.
