This innovative UK based biodegradable cutlery manufacturer is committed to increasing the presence of biodegradable products within the UK and Europe. The types of clients they work with are independent and multi chained restaurants, entertainment companies, elite sports clubs, airlines, retailers, distributors, corporate clients and many more. As a business they have supplied to businesses in 19 countries and clients have included Liverpool FC, Saracens and Socius Network, one of the largest food distribution firms in the UK.
One vacancy available for a start date of July 4th 2016 to work in the office in Covent Garden. The role will be a combination of new business sales (30-40%) and Account Management (60-70%)
Responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with key distribution companies.
- Developing sales leads through cold calling, referrals and self-initiated strategies in order to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Maintaining an active lead generation plan.
- Persuading clients to 'go green' and consider their eco-products.
- Giving presentations to potential clients whenever necessary.
- Negotiating prices and closing deals.
- Creating a database of potential clients, maintaining existing clients and populating database with new clients.
- Developing and sustaining relationships with clients.
- Developing and identifying new business opportunities.

The basic salary is £22-24k and you will also be eligible for rewards based on performance.

- Happy to work in a sales environment including some cold-calling.
