Job Title: Graduate Sales Account Manager

A leading distributor of high quality Cabling, Network and Security products to a range of businesses across the UK, from their base in West Sussex close to Gatwick Airport. Since incorporation in 2005 they have grown organically to a business of 20 staff with a turnover of £7m. They supply to a range of companies, from SME?s to blue-chip clients such as Microsoft, Google and the MoD.

The first 4-6 months will be very sales-focused as you will be looking to generate business leads in order to develop your 'territory', which will either be the South West or the Midlands. This period will be very cold-call intensive as you will be starting out on a 'cold-desk' but within time will move into more of an account-managed desk when you have developed strong relationships with a number of clients. This role will be very much office-based in the first year and then will include visits to your key clients thereafter.

The basic salary for this role is a very competitive £23-25k depending on your level of sales experience. With quarterly individual and team bonuses you should be looking to earn an extra £3-4k on top in your first year. They also offer spot-prizes for the top salesperson of the month as well as manufacturer-incentivised prizes.

Whilst looking for a graduate, their type of academic background is not as important as personality. The following competencies are more important:

Candidates must be able to drive given the location of the office, which is within a reasonable commute of Brighton, Worthing, Guildford, Redhill etc. Office hours are 8.45am ? 5.45pm
