Starting summer 2017, this rotational programme is an excellent starting point to your career. The opportunity will see you rotate through 4 business units in order for you to gain a broad understanding of the technology and infrastructure that drive this business forward. You will also be given the opportunity to work toward professional IT qualifications such as ITIL and Prince 2.
Over the course of the programme you will:
- Be involved in the implementation of new IT solutions.
- Work on technical projects that will support business critical activities.
- Develop an understanding of IT service delivery with both internal departments and external vendors.
- Gain the relevant technical knowledge to allow you to provide technical advice and guidance.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain a thorough knowledge of IT within a Blue chip financial organisation and allow you to work toward a professional qualification.
Requirements:
We encourage applications from candidates who have studied Computer Science, IT or technology related degrees. In addition we would also like applications from candidates who have not studied an IT degree but do have a demonstrable interest in technology. Maybe you have learnt to code or built PC's in your own time. Perhaps you have designed a website for a society of club you are a member of, or designed a database for a university project? If you feel you have this level of interest then we want to hear from you!
In addition you should:
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to identify opportunities to improve processes and systems
- Have a passion for problem solving
- Be motivated to build collaborative relationships
- Be motivated to study toward professional qualifications - ITIL, Prince 2 amongst others
- Be able to start work between June and September 2017
- Have a strong academic record
