Our client is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world.
Our client has an opportunity for a graduate to become an Analyst for the Risk Analytics team. The purpose of this role is to work alongside the credit risk team. In this role you will be involved in the improvement of credit risk statistical models, strategies and decision systems to manage decisions throughout the credit risk life cycle.
This role will involve working on a range of analytical and modelling projects. You will be conducting research and development of new analytic techniques and strategies.
The role involves large scale data analysis and statistical data modelling.
The essential skills for the role are as follows:
- Minimum 2.1 degree in Maths, Statistics, Operational Research, Decision Science or a related degree.
- An interest in applied mathematics and statistical techniques
- Strong problem solving skills
- Logical approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to look at large data sets
- Knowledge of modelling
- Strong Excel skills ? including pivot tables
- Some knowledge of statistical software
- Ideally some work experience in data analysis
