Job Title: Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Financial IT Markets

My client is a specialist Financial Markets IT Recruitment firm with clients across Hedge Funds to Investment Banks. Their key focus is on recruiting mid to senior level technical executives in permanent and contract positions. They were set up in 2002 and the partners have at least ten years experience.

Due to an increasing workload the company is looking for two Support Consultants. You will be working under the guidance of experienced Recruitment Consultants, helping to recruit for a number of their blue-chip clients across a number of technical disciplines. This is very much an entry-level role with a training programme that will last between 12-18 months, depending on the progression of the individual. Internal mentoring and external training courses will cover recruitment and sales techniques, financial markets products and technology.

Unlike in other recruitment firms in the IT and Banking sector, you will not be expected to earn revenue for the company in your first three months, as the company believes that the best recruiters are those that fully understand their sector. You will also enjoy the following:

The basic salary is £20k.

Requirements:

- An intelligent, mature and quick thinking nature
- The ability to absorb information quickly
- Extremely strong presentation and communication skills
- Twelve months commercial experience, either as a placement, gap year or post graduation
- Strong academic record from a top tier university
- Other non-academic success (sports, travel, fundraising etc) will be highly sought after
