The Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) is a market leading recruitment consultancy. We specialise in placing graduates and graduates with experience into roles across a range of industries. Founded in 1996 we now employ nearly 50 people in London and our Brighton HQ and have a turnover of £2 million.
We are constantly expanding and are looking to fuel this with the best graduate talent to train and develop. Our work in this area was recently rewarded with Investors in People Accreditation.
This challenging role offers an excellent opportunity for a well organised, multi tasking graduate to work in a rewarding, target driven environment. You will provide sales and administrative support to a Principal Consultant, learning about the recruitment process and your specialist industry sector.
Your role will also include:
- Marketing jobs to our database of graduates
- Sourcing, screening and selecting the best candidates from internal and external databases
- Telephone interviewing, qualifying suitability and marketing positions
- Promoting the candidates you find to the consultants you work with
- Gaining specialist knowledge about market sectors
As you progress you will get more of training, coaching and personal development. You will assist the Principal Consultant further, helping to account manage our clients and the wider recruitment process.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Writing job descriptions and job adverts
- Visiting key clients with the Principal Consultant
- Arranging interviews and assessment days with the clients and candidates
- Ensuring systems admin is up to date
- Preparing and coaching candidates over the phone and in writing to maximise their chances
- Managing the interview feedback process and ultimately making and closing job offers
- Supporting the Principal Consultant in order to maximise revenue
The starting salary for this position is £19k plus commission which should take you to circa £22k in your first year with scope to earn more as you work with the Principal Consultant to grow the accounts. Alternatively, you may have the opportunity to move into a recruitment consultant position after a year and try to pick up your own clients.

Desirable Skills:
- Office experience - Any previous working history in recruitment, administration, customer care or other support would be advantageous
