Our client is primarily involved in the supply of structural steelwork both to markets in the UK and overseas. The industries in which they work include the Gas, Oil and Petrochemical Industries, Commercial, Retail and Leisure Developments, PFI, Rail and Civil Engineering Projects, both in the UK and overseas. Much effort is made by the company in maintaining and developing customer relationships by offering superior service in engineering, quality, health and safety and performance. This has led to many long-term relationships and the on-going development of alliances and strategic partnerships with clients.
My client is looking for a graduate to come into a trainee position within the company and take on a huge amount of training. Safety, cost, time and quality are the driving factors on any project for my client so you will be involved in all of these aspects.
There will be on site and office work and you will be kept busy in a huge variety of work. There are excellent career progression opportunities within this company and extensive travel to meet with clients.
Requirements:
-Degree in Quantity Surveying, grade 2:2 minimum
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to multi-task and prioritise
-You will be a confident, driven individual
-Strong team working skills shown through extra-curricular experiences ideally
