My client is involved in the design and manufacture of brewery equipment. They see the future as a constant search for improvement to increase the efficiency of their products. Their expertise has been developed over the last 15 years, and they design innovative cask handling systems and advanced brewery equipment for leading UK brewers.
Being a Process Engineer with my client will see you being involved in the design, operation, control, and optimization of the wet chemical processes involved in brewery equipment through the aid of systematic computer-based methods.
This new position will work in the Leeds design office with 5 other Mechanical Engineers although you will be mainly working with the process team who work in Shrewsbury and Leeds.
This is a training position so you gain a lot of knowledge and experience from experienced engineers. My client uses solid works for detailed design work but use 2D Autocad for process flow sheets.
My client has a new project coming up involving building a new Brewhouse and FV room at a Brewery and a new cask ale packaging plant so you may be involved in travelling and staying away to work on these projects based down in Cornwall and Herefordshire.
Candidates will require a:
-Degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related, minimum grade 2:2
-Good understanding of 3D CAD and process engineering
-Good communication skills
