Our client is a marketing agency working within the medical sector.

The role requires a very flexible and resourceful client focused individual who will be prepared to assist in all areas of conference, event and administrative support. This market leading company produces 15-20 events a year, focusing on pharmaceutical product launches as well as providing medical education events.

The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills in order to liaise with high profile clients. You will be required to take briefings for meeting agendas, moderator?s guides, flipchart requirements and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, hard working and enthusiastic graduate to join a company whose clients include global pharmaceutical companies and medical practitioners.

Specific duties might include:

-Receiving Conference and Event information and implementing all plans to ensure events are delivered in line with client requirements.
-Ensuring all Conference and Events functions are performed effectively and in a professional manner
-Producing accurate travel plans and itineraries for internal and external clients
-Providing support with logistical requirements for meetings and events including:
-Researching and producing travel proposals,
-Venue and restaurant search,
-Local supplier search,
-Courier requirements,
-Onsite facilities such as car parking

-Be able to troubleshoot and react to client customer requests in an appropriate manner
-Developing meeting materials
-To ensure all administrative and financial processes connected to conferences and events are carried out in a timely manner
-Other ad hoc tasks as required

Essential skills include:

-2:1 or above in a Life Science subject or related
-Strong A Levels
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where multi-taking is a must
-Ability to follow through on task completion
-Ability to interface with executive and senior management internally and externally
-Strong communication skills, organisational skills, problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
-Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
-A strong interest in the health and pharmaceutical industry
